First of all, this satin double faced wired ribbon is NICER than I expected. You could sew it around the waist of a wedding dress, it’s THAT high quality. Heavy without being too thick, opaque not transparent, medium-stiff in a good way (not rigid, but it holds its position perfectly).
Secondly, I needed a satin ribbon that I could sew onto organza chair covers. So many ribbons just split when the sewing machine needle runs across it, but not THIS satin ribbon! This ribbon cooperates beautifully when sewing it onto other fabric.
Thirdly, the wired edges have exactly enough subtle “oomph” to keep the bow’s shape, not whimpy wire like so many other ribbons.
Fourth, the customer service at Ribbon Bazaar is fantastic! The first color I ordered was a little off compared to my project fabric so I returned it easily and ordered another shade quickly. I LOVE a no-hassle customer service experience.
