We here at RibbonBazaar.com put forth our best effort to ship out your order the same business day as it was ordered, provided the order is placed before 2pm Eastern Time. Orders being shipped to the contiguous United States that are above $75 are eligible for free shipping using UPS Ground.
Because USPS is currently unable to offer us consistent end-of-day pickup, we are unable to offer same day shipping for orders that use it. So all orders shipped using USPS services will ship out the same or following business day from the day the order was placed.
In spite of our best effort, RibbonBazaar.com cannot guarantee same-day shipment and reserves the right to delay shipment of your order until all outstanding issues such as back-order situations and billing/shipping issues are dealt with. This can take 1-2 business days or sometimes up to a week. We can ship the order sooner provided we are able to get in touch with you regarding appropriate adjustments to your order.
To ensure prompt delivery, please be aware of the following:
- Providing easily reachable contact information will go a long way towards quickly dealing with any outstanding issues that are preventing the shipment of your order.
- UPS does not ship to PO Boxes. When using UPS to ship your order, you must provide a standard street address.
- UPS does not do weekend deliveries. This means that if you place a UPS Next Day Air order on Friday, your order will be delivered to you on Monday (the next business day), not Saturday or Sunday. The same holds true for a UPS 2nd Day Air order shipped on Thursday, etc.
- Another factor resulting in delayed orders is multiple matching addresses. So please make sure to use a mailing address that you have preferably used before and are sure will get your order shipped.
- Our shipment days are Monday-Friday (we do not ship on weekends).

RB.com accepts orders year-round, but does not ship out orders on weekends and certain holidays noted below.

- Columbus Day - The Post Office is closed, so only UPS orders are picked up.

- New Year's Eve - We are open but UPS does not pick up Ground shipments.

Any samples purchased with your order from our Request Samples page will be mailed out separately from other items in your order using regular mail. And so they do not qualify for expedited shipping, even if you have selected it for the other items in your order. If you require expedited shipping, please consider the bottom section on the same page.
We have tried our best to accommodate our customers in the past by combining multiple orders for them, or by request, placed in the same day in order to save on shipping cost. However, due to the volume of requests, we will no longer be offering this service going forward. We will hopefully be able to offer it again in the near future, but for now multiple orders placed together will all ship out separately with each incurring a separate shipping charge.
If you leave a comment in the comment box when checking out your order that we find unclear, then we may need to contact you by phone or email to proceed with shipment. We will need to do this to clear any potential misunderstandings we may have on the details of your order (i.e. the color, size, quantity, etc.).
If an item that you ordered was back-ordered, we will do our best to contact you by phone and email to let you know of this and to offer any alternative suggestions of similar items if possible.
Any outstanding issues preventing the processing and/or shipment of your order such as unclear order comments, items being back-ordered, shipping to PO Boxes via UPS, etc. will require that we first get in contact with you through the billing email and/or phone number that you provided. Clear, easily reachable contact information is helpful in this case.
We will not ship out your order until and unless we are able to reach you regarding the matter. Because of this, we cannot up hold the possibility of same-day shipping under such circumstances.
If you need to cancel an order you just placed, please be sure to call us at (732) 696-2772 by 2:30pm Eastern time (attempts to cancel your order by email or otherwise will not be accepted). Please have your order number ready.
We cannot guarantee that cancellation attempts made after 2:30pm Eastern time will be accepted. Once the order has shipped, it no longer qualifies for cancellation.
Expedited Shipping to Alaska & Hawaii
Expedited shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is not guaranteed by UPS and so might not arrive by the expected delivery date.
Please be aware that while UPS provides guaranteed delivery timeframes (unlike USPS), their terms and conditions allow for delays based on rare and unexpected conditions such as extreme weather. Since in such circumstances UPS doesn't cover our losses due to late deliveries, we aren't responsible for these rare conditions that may cause a delay in delivery of your order.
