RibbonBazaar.com is not responsible for damage incurred during return shipping, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Merchandise that has been used, cut, altered, specialized, or otherwise is not in an "as-new" resalable condition cannot be returned for a refund. This includes all merchandise purchased by the yard. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returning merchandise to us.
Please note that while we recommend requesting samples if you are unsure if a color will match, we do not make any guarantees that a sample's color will exactly match the ribbons ordered from us due to slight color variations resulting from different dye lots.
Please also be aware of the following:
- If we receive a return package with no visible RMA number on the outside of the box (hence no prior authorization), the package will be refused.
- If returning products with a subtotal of more than $100, there will be a 15% restocking fee applied to the refund.
- There is no industry standard for producing continuous, unspliced spools. Since suppliers in general cannot guarantee that retailers selling ribbon receive continuous, joint-free spools, we unfortunately cannot pass on such a guarantee to our customers.
- Spools of a specific yardage are not guaranteed, so for example if you order three 10 yard spools, you may receive one 30 yard spool for the same price.
- A size variation of up to 1/16" for smaller sizes and up to 1/4" for larger sizes (i.e. 3" Grosgrain) is possible and a color variation between what is seen on the monitor and what is actually delivered to you might be the result of a difference in monitor settings and is beyond our control.
- Your account will be credited typically the same or next business day following the receipt of the returned merchandise.
- To help maintain sound, up-to-date records, we do not accept exchanges and request that customers place a fresh order instead.
To return an item, you must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from our Return Request page. This number should be clearly written on the outside of the box containing the invoice and merchandise being returned. No returns will be accepted without prior authorization via a valid RMA number.Request
