This is a seconds quality of our Solid Grosgrain ribbon that is missing the classic grosgrain ridges.
The images are the same ones used in our Solid Grosgrain Ribbons; they show the color but the actual spools will be missing the grosgrain ridges as mentioned above.
The image of Blue Bird shows what this ribbon actually looks like.
This ribbon is from our stock of Solid Grosgrain ribbon that wasn't manufactured correctly and so is missing the classic grosgrain ridges. This makes it end up looking more like polyester tape than a grosgrain ribbon, as such it has been re-labeled as a separate ribbon. Otherwise, there are no other weaving or dying imperfections.

haven't started using i yet but I had to check my order to see which were seconds .(it does say on the roll if you look) I didn't see a difference so far.

I'm sorry you had a poor experience shopping with us. We pride ourselves in shipping out orders quickly, but unfortunately this can sometimes mean orders placed even an hour ago are unable to be cancelled. This is especially the case for by the yard orders that have already been cut from a spool.
