The ideal material for making bows for gift boxes, decorations and bags is a woven taffeta ribbon with a wire edge. The wire helps to keep the ribbon in place once you have made your design. There are several colors available, making it easy to blend the woven ribbon taffeta with any wrapping paper or decorative bag that you choose. The edge is raised, giving the support needed to keep the material from falling over once it's on the item. The slender taffeta material is just the right size for holiday projects or other decorations that you want around the home, such as wreaths or baskets.
